6. Mexico City - Spectre
The most recent Bond film opens with an impressive single-take sequence as 007 (Daniel Craig) is on manoeuvres in Mexico City, but it's ultimately hampered by some extremely inconspicuous compositing effects (as was also a problem in Skyfall's pre-title sequence).
Once 007 finds himself on a rooftop, it's extremely obvious that Craig is simply in front of a green screen, and this only gets worse once he's forced to flee from exploding rubble.
The big issue here is that the blatant fakeness of the scene completely undermines even the most basic attempt at establishing suspense or excitement.
And that's not to forget the subsequent high-wire battle inside a helicopter cockpit, which is harangued at all times by appallingly bad chroma key effects.
There was clearly so much thought and artistry put into this scene conceptually, but the execution suffers immensely because the effects are so spotty.
