6. The Ideas For Four Films Were Brainstormed During A Single Meeting

One of the great things about Pixar is how unique and varied its film concepts are. The company is responsible for everything from a film about anthropomorphic emotions controlling people's brains to a film about a lone scrap robot designed to clean up earth.

What's amazing, then, is the fact that Pixar actually came up with the ideas for four of its most iconic films during a lunch meeting in 1994. The meeting took place at a diner called the Hidden City Cafe, and there the likes of John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Joe Ranft came up with the beginnings of A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc, and WALL-E.

This lunch was so important to Pixar as a company that the Hidden City Cafe actually features in the background of a scene in Monsters, Inc, a fitting tribute to an important part of Pixar history.
