The Film
Though it is slightly mired in controversy thanks to Johnny Depp's involvement as Grindelwald, the Fantastic Beasts sequel looks set to recapture the imaginations of every Harry Potter fan in the world.
Moving into more familiar territory, The Crimes Of Grindelwald returns fans to Hogwarts, tells the story (at least partly) of Dumbledore's conflict with Grindelwald and expands on Newt Scamander's own story. It feels both nostalgic for Potter fans and progressive for Fantastic Beasts and as such can count on a good response from both sets of fans (who are more distinct than you'd think).
Evidence
While not every Harry Potter fan would necessarily be a Fantastic Beasts fan, we're now looking at a more conscious marriage of the two strands of the Wizarding World, which means The Crimes Of Grindelwald can count on the added marketing weight of Potter behind it.
