Again proving himself to be one of the most diverse and adventurous directors working today, Ang Lee opts to tackle big-budget sci-fi with this film about a senior NSA official (Will Smith) who finds himself hunted by a younger clone of himself on the eve of his retirement.
It's a nutty premise with a ton of potential that speaks for itself, and seeing a filmmaker of Lee's calibre teaming with a veritable star like Smith could result in a movie that's both an Oscar contender and a box office smash.
Plus, Smith can finally redeem himself for his last sci-fi film, M. Night Shyamalan's disastrous After Earth.
