8. Iron Sky: The Coming Race
The Pitch: A most unexpected sequel to everybody's favourite Nazis-on-the-moon schlock-fest, Iron Sky.
In the wake of a nuclear apocalypse, humanity has holed up on an abandoned Nazi moon base, before a race of dinosaur-riding-reptilians led by Adolf Hitler shows up, hoping to wipe humanity out once and for all.
There's apparently also a Steve Jobs-inspired cult led by Tom Green. Yup.
Will It Be Any Good?: Define "good." The first film was terrible by any conventional metric, but it was also surprisingly well-made for a crowd-funded movie, and honestly, most people would've been disappointed if it actually had a tight script and strong acting.
The Coming Race looks a little too self-conscious for its own good, but the whole Nazis-but-lizards-riding-dinosaurs shtick should be good for a few perverse chuckles.
Iron Sky: The Coming Race has already premiered internationally, yet awaits a full worldwide roll-out.
