13 Awesome Actresses Who Need To Play Bond Girls

Why It Could Happen: The 38-year-old beauty needs no introduction: she's easily one of the best actresses working today, with two Oscar nominations under her belt while also excelling in more straight-forward genre fare (look no further than the recent Crimson Peak). She's insanely glamorous when she wants to be and would fit into the Bond franchise in a bevy of roles: she could be the hard-a** bureaucrat behind a desk or equally the dazzling femme fatale on Bond's arm, though the actress herself has said she'd much prefer to be a villain. Why It Might Not: She's American, for one, which as we've mentioned is already a dicey prospect at best, she'd be over 40 by the time filming began, and she's not that likely to be cast as a major villain because no woman is these days. Plus, she's always keeping herself neck-deep in work, so scheduling could be an issue. How Likely Is It?: Not hugely, but it's Bond's loss. 3/10
