13 Awesome Actresses Who Need To Play Bond Girls

By Jack Pooley /

7. Rebecca Hall

Why It Could Happen: An excellent actress who's just the right age (33 at the time of writing) and a perfect example of the classic English rose: she's ridiculously classy, beauitful, and has a fair number of both action-based and dramatic credits to her name. She's a strong woman who would be a perfect foil to Bond and not take his s*** lying down. Why It Might Not: For one, she perhaps doesn't have the traditional Bond girl look, insane though that suggestion sounds, but Bond fans be a very fickle bunch. Plus, it's hard to imagine that the filmmakers would ever pick her over someone a little more glamorous, like Emily Blunt, if given the choice. How Likely Is It?: It could happen, but she'd probably be more at home as a Moneypenny-esque field agent rather than a focal Bond girl who has to spend most of the film wearing cocktail dresses. She'd nail the hard-a** subordinate to M, but it's a question of whether or not there's a place for that kind of character. 4/10
