8. Batman Might Appear In Suicide Squad (AND Arrow)
According to the latest rumours of Suicide's Squad, The Joker will play a Hannibal Lecter-type figure (so an incarcerated "consultant") and that an event at the end of the movie involving him will necessitate a cameo by Affleck's Batman. Since it's supposed to set up the stand-alone Batman movie, you'd have to think that meant the Joker will escape, and Batman will be called in to set up their latest screen face-off. Meanwhile Arrow's exec producer Mark Guggenheim sort of confirmed he'd like to get Batman (presumably an entirely different version) in the show as part of a cross-over event:
"At the end of the day itd be so awesome to have Batman on the show. Thatd be really cool. I dont think that will be happening anytime soon, but you never know one day. One thing were always saying... we ended up with a lot more DC Comics characters becoming part of the show than we had ever planned... Ive learned not to expect anything or make any predictions because the reality has far exceeded any of our initial predictions or initial conceptions."
