Why It's Awesome: Though there's still little indication as to whether Universal's latest animation will actually have a decent plot to connect these skit-like moments together, at least the marketing for The Secret Life of Pets continues to suggest that it's got a well-rounded mix of humour for both adults and kids. Along with the visual of a poodle listening to heavy metal when his owner is absent, the alcohol-related toilet gag suggests more adult cheekiness than you might've expected, and will hopefully make the film a solid sit regardless of age.
