6. Korg (Thor: Ragnarok)
By far one of the most unexpectedly brilliant characters in the MCU to date is Korg (Taika Waititi), Thor's weaponsmith and eventual pal on Sakaar, who introduces himself to the Asgardian moments before his battle with The Hulk.
Pretty much everything that comes out of Korg's mouth throughout the movie is comedy gold, not least that within seconds of meeting Thor, he explains that he tried to start a revolution, but it failed because he forgot to print enough pamphlets.
Waititi's wonderfully eccentric delivery - Kiwi accent and all - certainly didn't hurt, with Korg becoming one of the MCU's best-loved supporting characters after appearing in just a single movie.
There's no way he died in Infinity War, right? The character's just too damn good to be wasted on one film.
