If you don’t already know the premise of Teeth then there’s only two words you need to hear: “vagina dentata”.

In case Latin isn’t your forte then here’s a moment from the movie that should shed some light on the premise. A gynaecologist is examining a girl. He then removes his glove and his examination becomes somewhat un-medical. So the girl bites his fingers off using her vagina which has teeth.

Teeth is a great horror-comedy that will make every man squirm. We are so used to seeing women in horror films either subjected to awfult sexual violence, or (as Scream highlinghts), condemned to die as a result of their sexuality, that Teeth’s feminist spin on these worn out tropes is wonderfully refreshing.

Also, there’s no other way of saying it, but it’s just really fun watching horrible, sleazy men getting their members bitten off.
