10. Ryan Reynolds (And Hugh Jackman) - Deadpool 2

Considering the temptations Fox must have faced to simply recycle everything that had made the first Deadpool movie so successful, it was genuinely brilliant to see how many shocks and surprises Ryan Reynolds and David Leitch threw in there.

As well as cameos for the X-Men: Dark Phoenix cast of mutants, Bill Skarsgård, Terry Crews and Alan Tudyk, the film unveiled a genius mid-credits scene that wiped out the X-Men Origins version of Deadpool and cheekily stopped Ryan Reynolds making Green Lantern.

That meant we got to see the new Deadpool killing two versions of Reynolds himself, to the bemusement of Hugh jackman's Wolverine at one point. You'll be hard-pressed to find a bigger audience pop in any mid-credits comic book movie scene.
