5. The Disturbing Sexual Abuse Message - Show Dogs
Pretty much the entirety of Show Dogs could end up on this list, but there's one scene in the talking dogs movie so idiotic it actually crosses the line into offensive territory.
The moment in question sees canine protagonist Max (Ludacris) forced to have his genitals fondled by a dog show judge against his wishes, with his dog pal Philippe (Stanley Tucci) effectively telling him to just sit back and find a happy place.
Critics quickly complained that the scene flew a little too close to normalising child grooming, potentially giving kids the wrong message about inappropriate touching.
Releasing so soon after the onset of the #MeToo movement, the scene felt incredibly tone-deaf, and honestly, why does a movie about cute talking dogs need a subplot about molestation in any climate?
The outcry was so significant that the studio ordered the scene re-cut for the film's second week on release.
