3. General Hux Is The First Order's Sole Survivor

General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) will presumably be working as Kylo Ren's second-in-command in Episode IX, and though the First Order will surely be defeated and largely eliminated by the end of the film, it'd be great to see at least one notable villain escape by the skin of their teeth.

Kylo Ren will probably die, but given Hux's more calculated, Machiavellian mindset, it'd make sense for him to eject free of danger at the last possible moment, living to fight another day.

It wouldn't need to set up his return in a future film, but the mere suggestion that he's out there somewhere eking out a living would keep fans talking for years, maybe even decades, to come.
