13 Films You Won't Believe Turn 10 Years Old In 2015

3. Saw II

The Movie: The follow-up to 2004's mega-successful horror flick, which despite negative reviews significantly exceeded the original's box office haul and proved that a franchise was very much on the cards. Why It Doesn't Feel 10 Years Old: Here's another film that feels much older than a decade: after all, since its release, the Saw series has seen 5 other sequels, with another sequel (or possibly a reboot) also being planned for 2016 or 2017. That's not even including the five "sabbatical" years there have been since 2010 without a Saw movie. It's a testament to how quick and easy horror movies are to shoot that Lions Gate managed to strike while the iron was hot and make almost $900 million in just 7 years of movies. Who could possibly have seen this coming back when Saw II was preparing for release?
