The Movie: Joss Whedon directs the cinematic finale to the cult TV series Firefly, enraging fans by killing off two beloved characters but basically delivering on everything you would expect from a Whedon sci-fi flick. Sadly, despite strong reviews, the movie was a box office bomb, killing off any prospect of a sequel. Why It Doesn't Feel 10 Years Old: The Firefly fanbase is so passionate and vocal that it's hard to believe that this movie really came out a whole decade ago. They still haven't stopped yapping about how brilliant the film was, nor how desperate they are for a sequel, and even if it's never going to happen, the Browncoats' ferocious spirit has helped Serenity remain relevant and popular a whole ten years later.
