The Question: Doomsday is one of the most iconic and powerful villains in Superman's mythos, so many are understandably worried that he'll be hastily introduced in the movie's third act and killed off without much consideration. Or will he be defeated and live to fight another day? The Likely Answer: Unlikely. Doomsday is too awesome and powerful to be wiped out by merely Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. He may very well be temporarily disabled, but permanently destroying him would be a major misstep and anger a ton of comic book fans (especially give what his comic book counterpart was introduced to do). He'll get beaten, take a break and then show up again some time down the line, probably in one of the Justice League films. Such is the beauty of Doomsday: he hibernates and comes back stronger.
