9. Ant-Man & The Wasp

Critics and audiences alike were so desperately in need of a post-Infinity War palate cleanser that they largely gave this totally forgettable, safe superhero sequel a free pass.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is easy to watch yet utterly insubstantial, offering up underwhelming villains, flat visuals, a surprisingly empty role for Michelle Pfeiffer and a script that just feels too eager to go through the motions.

Paul Rudd and the ensemble cast are charming enough and the action occasionally hits the mark, but is that really enough to get almost 90% critical approval? It was fine, but not much more.
