It wouldn't exactly be a surprise to anyone if an actor landed a big TV gig and quit their other, regular job, but not Woodley. After landing a crucial early role in her career as the protagonist of TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager, she continued to work her normal job at an American Apparel store in Los Angeles, which no doubt kept her grounded even if millions would no doubt have given up that job straight away. Woodley didn't leave the job until she won her breakthrough role in The Descendants, which would have been some time in 2010, likely shortly after she wrapped production on the third season of her show. So, despite being on a hugely popular teen TV series for three years, she was still working a regular job like the rest of us. Admirable or madness? You decide.
