Why It's Doomed: Guy Ritchie is an incredibly hit-and-miss filmmaker, and the laughable trailer for his take on King Arthur looks at once tedious, cringe-worthy and sloppily-assembled.

Yes, it's blessed with a great cast including Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, Eric Bana and Aidan Gillen, but the trailer doesn't really suggest much in the way of interesting drama or well-executed action (the CGI looks horrendous), so it's easy to imagine a mainstream audience collectively shrugging at it.

Considering the clearly high costs of the production, this one needs to be a real hit to succeed, but it'll probably do mediocre business and be quickly forgotten.
