12. Joey King (Slender Man)
The Conjuring's Joey King is certainly a talented actress, but she clearly needs a better agent, because she's so much better than...this.
Slender Man is indeed a terrible mess of a horror movie, but rather than merely come and go without making a dent, it's actively damaged the careers of its young stars, none more so than King.
Between this and last year's Wish Upon, she's gaining a reputation for giving comically self-serious performances in wretched teen horror flicks and thoroughly embarrassing herself in the process.
She's trying, for sure, but her over-enthusiastic attempt to make sense of this nonsense is really quite cringe-worthy, even if you can sort-of admire her for even trying.
Well, she doesn't have any other horror movies lined up for 2019 at least, so things probably aren't getting any worse.
