The Strangers was one of the single most horrifying experience ever committed to film. It was gut wrenching and beautifully made, and it quickly became a massive success, doubling its $10M budget in the first weekend and going on to gross $52M during its two month stint in theatres. The story is going to pick up where the last left off, only this time it revolves around an entire family. Mom, Dad, and teenaged siblings head to Uncles mobile home park for a vacation only to find that Aunt and Uncle have been murdered by the strangers. The night turns into a race for their lives as the masked killers take new pleasure in tormenting their victims. So maybe that means that instead of focusing on the psychological horror aspect that the first one killed, theyre going to go for the shock and gore angle which may have a good impact on the franchise as there wasn't much of it in the first. No release date on this one yet, but it will surely be worth a watch.
