Yes. Yes. Yes. There will be another Zombieland! Ruben Fleischer, director of the first film, has been announced as the sequels helmer, though not much else has been revealed. Dave Callaham (The Expendables series) is writing the script, but hasnt released any plot details - it's probably going to have zombies though, right? Whether theyre trying to play it close to the chest or they just dont have the cast lined up, its doubtful the original cast members will return for the second. It should still be cast at a similar level of familiarity though. There a few directions that they can take this sequel in. If they have a completely different cast, a cross-over moment would be great though Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson have all seen their careers take off since the originals 2009 release and may be less than enthusiastic. Keep an eye out for news about this one as there is no release date in sight, but fingers are crossing across the world that it comes to us sooner rather than later.
