3. Chris McKay Could Jump To A Live Action DC Movie Next
The Rumour
After the LEGO Batman Movie's success, Chris McKay will no doubt be a hotter property, and he's already gone some way to suggesting what he's ideally like to do. After being asked about the possibility of him doing a live action DC movie, McKay responded positively:
“It’s a long shot but I’d like to be a part of it somehow."
And then he suggested conversations may be about to happen...
Response
He absolutely deserves a chance, even if The Batman has now gone. But we do know that The Flash is still without a director, and with the comedic element already introduced int he Justice League footage, he's exactly the kind of director who could tackle a lighter Flash project.
Above all else, LEGO Batman proved that McKay knows and loves the DC Universe, and that's the kind of passion Warner Bros should be looking to bottle.
