Thanks to some Redditors, there has been a particularly exciting rumour - originating on Facebook apparently (just so no-one can really track it down) - that Jeff Bridges might be up for the role of Darkseid for Justice League and its sequel.

Surely this can't be true? It would be too good to be true, even despite the fact that Bridges has already played a supervillain in a comic book movie - in Iron Man. He's the kind of huge drawing, vastly talented star who would absolutely suit the role, though the credence of the rumour should really be questioned.
It's one to absolute take with a whole bucket of salt - never mind a pinch - but who says we can't dream big?
