The Croods came and went in 2013 and left almost zero impact on pop-culture. It's only getting a sequel because it (somehow) made almost $600 million at the box office.

The majority of the original's ensemble cast will be returning for an easy pay-day, naturally, even though most audiences will be left scratching their heads trying to remember a) what the first film's plot was and b) who lent their voices to it (hint: Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds).

Could It Be Any Good?: While it could theoretically be a marginal improvement over the original, the safe money is on it being another blandly unmemorable effort that's neither infuriating nor particularly entertaining.
