Though many films tug at the heart-strings a little too aggressively and end up leaving audiences cold, these upcoming movies certainly have the dramatic potential to leave viewers insisting they've just got something in both of their eyes.

From incredible true stories about overcoming tremendous odds to universal tales about life and love, and a certain upcoming cinematic farewell to a beloved, departed movie icon, these upcoming movies should effortlessly have audiences fighting back tears unless something goes very, very wrong in post-production.

Director David Gordon Green (Joe) can be fantastic with the right script, and Jeff's tumultuous road to walking again is sure to have audiences wiping the tears away when he finally does. Expect soggy eyes and a string of Oscar noms in its future.
