Okay, so he's not an actor, exactly, but you'd be forgiven for never noticing that Virgin mogul Sir Richard Branson appeared in a Superman movie. Channelling his fondness for space travel, Branson appears very briefly as the engineer of a NASA shuttle, while the monitors inside the jet display Virgin Galactic adverts - pointing back to Branson's own commercial spaceflight company.

In appearing, he became one of the rare breed of actors who has appeared in a James Bond movie and a comic book movie, after a cameo in Casino Royale.
