Weve had our fair share of Batman movies when you really think about it. We had Adam Wests 1966 version which birthed the iconic (perhaps for the wrong reasons) shark-repellent Bat Spray; Tim Burtons foray took the character down darker and more serious avenues; Schumacher showed up to sell us all some credit cards, before finally Nolan infused the property with some much needed realism and grit. Over the course of Batmans incredibly lucrative cinematic history, weve been introduced to many characters, some major (Batman himself for example) and some minor (Victor Zsazs for example, who featured in Batman Begins for about five minutes). But Batman has existed on the page for over seventy years now and during that time an almost innumerable amount of characters have come and gone. So many of these characters have yet to be featured, or even acknowledged, in the Batman movie property so far; some understandably but some criminally. This article aims to expose those characters that weve yet to see receive a proper cinematic treatment. Because lets face it; there will be more Batman movies in the future and they need to be populated with characters. So, Ive searched my mind and my heart to bring you sixteen of such characters; those that havent had the exposure they deserve. Lets get right to it shall we?
