Though billed by critics as a cross between Whiplash and Black Swan - but for cellos, of course - many reviewers have implored interested parties to read as little as possible about the movie before seeing it.

Nevertheless, there's been consistent praise for leads Allison Williams and Logan Browning, not to mention the film's uneasy, slow-building mood.
