Why It's Going To Be Awesome: Octavia Spencer looks like she's having the time of her life in this horror film from Tate Taylor (The Help, The Girl on the Train).
Spencer has a habit of being typecast, so it's refreshing to see her in a role that completely upends her usual shtick, and with a supporting cast including Juliette Lewis, Allison Janney and Luke Evans, it could be yet another demented, smart indie horror for the Blumhouse Productions label.
The first trailer suggests a fine mix of horror and black comedy, and Spencer is firing on all cylinders in the very least.
