The Plot: When gambling addict Eddie Garrett (Jake Johnson) babysits a duffel bag full of money for an imprisoned acquaintance, he can't help but gamble it all away.
When the inmate's term is shortened, however, Eddie has just a small amount of time to win all the cash back.
Why It's Awesome: Another terrific collaboration between writer-director Joe Swanberg (Drinking Buddies) and Jake Johnson, Win It All allows Johnson to give arguably his best performance to date as an addict who just can't help himself.
One of Swanberg's most accessible comedies so far, Win It All convincingly depicts the life of a gambling addict and balances its comedy and more serious moments exceedingly well.
