15 Best Animated Movie Moments Of The Decade

15. Teen Titans Go To The Movies - Stan Lee’s Cameo

Stan Lee cameos have been a crucial part of the movie going experience since just prior to the start of this decade. They were a beloved feature of Marvel movies and following his death, they will be surely missed.

He popped up in some non-MCU appearances from time to time, including famously in The Simpsons, but when he finally crossed the line over to DC, it was wonderful. Teen Titans Go, as one of the least serious (and therefore least ‘DCy’) properties under the Detective Comics flag, felt like the perfect place to do it too.

He appears in his native habitat: a movie studio.

While the Teen Titans are skidding through a set lot trying to escape from the mind controlled DC heroes, Stan Lee gleefully jumps on their cart and declares that he doesn’t care if it’s a DC movie, he just loves cameos. Even as Robin flings him off the windscreen, Lee gracefully rolls away and shouts his famous ‘excelsior!’ catchphrase.

It comes just after a very funny bit where a mind controlled Batman chases them in the Batmobile, then BatCycle, then Batscooter, then Batrollerskates, before finally just getting a piggy back from Alfred.
