6. Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place)
It's honestly tough to pick just one great performance from this movie, but Emily Blunt just about steals it as Evelyn, the pregnant mother struggling to keep her family unit safe amid an alien invasion.

Sure, the whole premise of the movie is a bit silly when you start asking why the hell anyone would get pregnant during such a scenario, but if you can deal with that, this is an incredible showcase for the four lead actors.
Blunt, however, has by far the most emotionally trying material to work with and does a splendid job with it, even papering over the film's inherent narrative absurdities with her wholly convincing turn.
