Frankly we’d be pretty impressed if you don’t know the twist by now, but there’s more to this darker, smarter, more propulsive and more emotionally engaging second Star Wars instalment than just that iconic reveal. The film saw the series transition from a merchandise-friendly throwback to the classic sci fi serials if its directors childhood into a more mature and expansive saga which combined action, romance, and adventure for blockbuster perfection.
