DeviantArt naturally has no shortage of Avengers interpretations, but The Durrrrian's renditions, rethinking the sci-fi epic about A.I. gone crazy as a dark epic fantasy, are a cut above. Captain New World and Quicksilver the Wraithbrand are arresting, but this particular rendition of Ultron stands head and shoulders above the rest. Like his contemporary self, Ultron the Stringless sometimes seems no more than an elaborate bit of metalwork and sometimes seems to be an unfinished human body.
