Many fans walked away from SDCC thinking that Mad Max: Fury Road "won" the massive geek gathering. Warner Brothers' panel for the film was met with rapturous approval, and the footage shown sent a wage of positive buzz across the internet like wildfire. Warner Bros. didn't wait long to cash in on the successful reception of Mad Max at SDCC, and released the first trailer for the film on Sunday. The trailer provides absolutely zero plot details, but it features a ton of explosions, and a perfect display of the film's kinetic, balls-to-the-wall crazy tone and visual aesthetic.
