12. Legolas Jumps On Falling Stones - The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies
The Scene: During his battle with ferocious Orc Bolg, once a stone structure is heavily damaged, Legolas (Orlando Bloom) finds himself leaping from stone to stone as they all crumble away beneath his feet, eventually reaching safety by the skin of his teeth. Why It's So WTF: Alright, so Peter Jackson's Middle Earth franchise has never exactly had its feet planted in realism, and that's fine, but this scene was just laughably cheesy and one of the goofiest looking moments in a movie absolutely full of them. That Legolas was stepping into the stones as they sat in mid-air, unsupported by anything else, made it look like it could've been torn straight out of an episode of Looney Tunes, and while it was probably meant to be a little funny, its silliness completely detracted from any awesomeness it was meant to convey as well.
