3. Jigsaw Dies (Saw III)

After incredibly surviving the better part of three movies with debilitating terminal cancer, Jigsaw finally dies, but not due to the "Big C".

Rather, Jeff ends up faced with his final test, to either learn from his previous tests and have the capacity to forgive Jigsaw, or kill him using anything in the room.

Consumed with rage, Jeff uses a circular saw to slice Jigsaw's throat, effectively triggering his own wife's death and the disappearance of his daughter (who is later recovered by Detective Hoffman).

It's one of the series' most iconic scenes, even if from this point on the series got increasingly silly with how meticulously Kramer had planned for events following his own death.
