14. The Brazen Bull (Saw 3D)

Saw 3D may be one of the series' lesser instalments overall, but it did serve up several of the franchise's all-time best traps, including the Brazen Bull, which poor Joyce was subjected to.

The trap, apparently based on a real torture device used in Ancient Greece, saw Joyce sealed inside a metal container which was then blasted with fire, slowly roasting her alive after Bobby failed to do his part to rescue her.

It's grotesquely imaginative and clearly an horrendous way to die, evidenced by the lingering final glimpse of Joyce, who has had the majority of her skin burned away. Vile.
