15 Harry Potter Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie
15. Rubeus Hagrid
Hagrid is one of the most unique and popular characters in the entire Harry Potter saga, which is truly saying something. When the Keeper of the Keys took Harry under his enormous wing and walked him through Diagon Alley, he wasn't just introducing the boy who lived to the world of magic, but all of us as well.
Throughout the eight movies Hagrid served not only as comic relief, but as something of a mentor and friend to the golden trio, and offered a lot of genuine heart and emotion. His love of any and all magical creatures was heart warming, and his efforts with Madame Maxime were just adorable.
There surely isn't a fan of the wizarding world who wouldn't want to see more of Rubeus Hagrid, and there are a couple of ways this could be done. A look into the half-giant's past could delve deeper into his brief time at Hogwarts, his relationship with the other giants, and how on Earth a human/giant relationship is even possible. There could even be a cameo from Tom Riddle himself.
Alternatively, following Hagrid as a sequel to the Harry Potter saga, we could see what a rebuilding Hogwarts looked like after the devastating battle, and how Hagrid continued without having Harry, Ron, and Hermione dropping by his hut every couple of days.
