13. No Medal For Chewbacca?!

In the long and storied history of Star Wars, there have been few meaner decisions than the one that robbed Chewbacca of a medal at the end of Star Wars: A New Hope. Han got one, Luke got one, but Chewy was callously over-looked as the entire Rebel Alliance army looked on.

Did he somehow not deserve the accolades? Were his actions somehow less significant than those of his partner or Luke? It's despicable.

Naturally, fans noticed, leading to theories trying to fill in the gaps of why he was screwed out of his medal. Precious few of them hold much weight, and while the wrong was righted at the MTV Movie Awards when Chewy was presented with a lifetime achievement award, the original snub is still pretty unforgivable.
