Juno is such a self-consciously "hip" movie that it has no choice but to wind up on a list like this one. The central character, accidentally pregnant Juno MacGuff (Ellen Page), has an annoying name to match her grating personality; one half of the movie is spent on Juno doing "quirky" things like smoking a pipe and talking about obscure horror movies, whilst the other half is... actually, it's just more of that stuff on a relentless cringe-cycle. The script for Juno was written by a woman named "Diablo Cody," so audiences probably should have expected to encounter such wonderfully alternative lines of dialogue such as "Honest to blog?" and "That ain't no Etch-A-Sketch. This is one doodle that can't be un-did, Homeskillet." Yes, that's an actual line from the movie. At the time of its release, maybe this stuff was considered to be fresh and cool, but in retrospect it has rendered Juno entirely unwatchable.
