8. The Knife Fight - John Wick: Chapter 3: Parabellum

By the third installment of the John Wick trilogy, everyone knew exactly what we were going to get. Over-the-top to the point of almost hilarious, glorious violence and gore which, paired with Keanu Reeves, is nothing short of pure fun.

Though this kind of action is present throughout the entire movie, there is one scene that is particularly memorable as the titular character trades in his signature 'gun-fu' for a simply ridiculous knife fight.

Here Mr. Wick takes on a hoard of bad guys at first using just his fists, but soon realises he is in a corridor full of knives, and uses them to devastating effect. Essentially using the weapons as bullets, Reeves' character riddles several villains with these knives with nothing short of perfect accuracy, while fighting off the ones being thrown at him, before slowly sliding a knife straight through the open eye of his final adversary.

This whole fight scene is typical of the franchise's action sequences, and the absence of any music in the background allows for every punch, crunch, and broken bone to be heard as clear as day, typifying exactly why the series is so popular.
