10. Frozen 2 (2019)

When Frozen came out in 2013, it smashed all kinds of records and drove parents around the world insane with the 3,000th playing of "Let it Be." The movie was a massive hit, and it did something that Disney only did once before; it earned itself a sequel.

To be clear, Disney (not Pixar) has been making sequels for decades, but they were all released direct-to-video, not theatrically. Frozen 2 is only the second theatrical sequel to come from Walt Disney Animation Studios; Disney changed its strategy, and for a very good reason: money.
