The Movie: Bamboozled is a satirical film by Spike Lee, about a modern minstrel show staring black actor wearing blackface makeup, and the ensuing fallout.

The Poster: The film€™'s advertising heavily parodied the style of posters that were used for real minstrel shows in the 1800s. As a result, several publications and theatres that showed the poster were accused of racism by some concerned individuals that were unfamiliar with the satirical premise.
