4. Ian Malcolm Or Alan Grant Have A Cameo - Jurassic World
The Prediction: As the first Jurassic Park movie not to feature either Alan Grant (Sam Neill) or Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) in a starring role, one of them would surely have a cameo worked in somewhere, right? It wouldn't make sense for them to be anywhere near Isla Nublar, but perhaps a scene set off the island before the latest catastrophe begins, or a video clip in a lab on the island? What Actually Happened: Neither of them make even the slightest of appearances, and the only real nod to either comes in the form of Dr. Malcolm's book "God Creates Dinosaurs", which can be briefly spotted in the Jurassic World control room. Given the potential for a cameo from either to come across as rather shoehorned, this one isn't exactly a major loss, but at the same time, fan nostalgia for these two characters may have been sufficient enough that they still would've accepted it.
