15. Fatale

A supernatural noir published by Image Comics and created by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, Fatale chronicles the life of Josephine, an archetypal femme fatale who is seemingly immortal, having survived from the 1930s to the modern day un-aged, and also has a supernatural ability to hypnotise men into becoming intensely infatuated with her, whether she wants them to be or not.

A love letter to one of the great cinematic archetypes, as you might imagine from the title, it’s only fitting that something like Fatale should make its way onscreen at some point.

And one important aspect of a potential Fatale film is that it would be a great opportunity to make a truly unique female-led superhero vehicle. With DC and Marvel basically dragging both their heels and knuckles at this point, maybe it's time for a left field female character that not many have heard of to take the reins.
