It seemed evident from day one that Jurassic World was always going to be a license to print money, so why did Universal feel the need to get cheap with the film's visual effects? It's not that all the CGI is bad, it's just incredibly inconsistent. The raptors in particular look hilariously cartoonish and fake-looking, especially when they're interacting with humans. It surely wouldn't have hurt for a few extra million dollars to be injected into beefing up the effects, which really don't look a great deal better than the visuals in the previous three movies.
