8. Stephanie Niznik (Kell Perim & Wraith)

Though Stephanie Niznik was best known for the character of Nina Feeney on Everwood, she made two appearances in the Star Trek universe before winning the role of her career.

Niznik had a small but memorable part in 1998's Star Trek: Insurrection as Kell Perim, a Trill Starfleet officer who provides assistance to Riker (Jonathan Frakes).

Niznik then returned to Trek in 2002 for an episode of Enterprise, where she played the beautiful female form that the Wraith assumes in front of Captain Archer (Scott Bakula).

After appearing periodically in TV shows throughout the 2000s, Niznik retired from acting in 2009, and died from alcohol-induced chronic liver disease on June 23 at the mere age of 52.
